Certain political communities bring attention to the SHSAT and blame the test for failing Black and Hispanic communities.

The actual problem begins when students are young. The DOE begins failing our communities as early as the 3rd grade.

According to the DOE's data, less than 25% of our Black and Hispanic kids are ever Common Core proficient.

Any time a politician blames the Common Core based SHSAT but fails to address the DOE earlier, they're performing educational negligence.
